Code With Us Inc. is a new Winnipeg-based software-focused startup. We work with clients on technology, learning, and evaluation projects that require strong attention to detail, clear communication, and high-quality judgment.
We are currently looking for an A.I. Trainer to support a short-term client project involving the review and evaluation of PowerPoint presentations on a wide variety of university-level topics. This is a flexible, in-person role based on-site out of our office in Bridgewater, Winnipeg. All required equipment will be provided.
Role Description
We are hiring an A.I. Trainer for a short-term position, expected to last approximately 1 to 6 months. The main responsibility will be helping evaluate and maintain PowerPoint presentations based on visual design, layout, typography, spacing, styling, and overall presentation effectiveness.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable reviewing academic or university-level presentation content and identifying what makes a slide clear, professional, visually balanced, and easy to understand. This role involves careful judgment, consistency, and the ability to follow evaluation guidelines.
Work will be completed in person at our office in Bridgewater, Winnipeg. Shifts are flexible and typically 5-8 hours long, for approximately 15 hours a week. The candidate must be responsible for their own transportation.
Pay structure may be employee-based or contractor-based, depending on the arrangement. For employee-based work, paid breaks, vacation pay, statutory holiday pay, and other applicable legal requirements will be provided in accordance with Manitoba employment standards. A 30-minute paid break will be provided for shifts longer than 5 hours.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have strong English reading and writing skills, preferably at a university level. They should be able to evaluate written content for clarity, grammar, tone, structure, and professionalism.
The candidate should also have a good eye for PowerPoint design, including typography, colour choices, layout, spacing, alignment, visual hierarchy, consistency, and overall slide aesthetics. Experience creating, editing, reviewing, or grading presentations would be an asset.
